You might think I’d mock someone whose back is so hairy that they need a device like the MANGROOMER, but I’ll do anything but: The sooner you trim that beastly back the sooner you’ll be making the beast with two. And god knows trying to even pluck hairs on your shoulders is a royal pain—I get these random, thick black ones my mother always charmingly referred to as “idiot hairs”—so I can only imagine how impossible it is to keep a thick crop of back hair trimmed down.
The MANGROOMER (all-caps theirs), isn’t really anything more than a regular shaver on an articulated stick, but what more do you need? It’s 40 bucks on Amazon and well reviewed, called by one man-ape a “must have for the summer months at the lake.”

I’d think a beastly back would be preferable to a 3 o’clock shadow stubble back.
