I know no more than you do about these fantastic Scrabble benches; Someone just showed me the picture. They appear to be in an airport or office building somewhere and are probably custom-made, but those pillows might be a licensed product. Does anybody know where these benches are in real life?

That is some kickass furniture. Although comfort factor might not be up there!
That looks a lot like one of the lobbies in building 68 (biology) at MIT. I haven’t been by there in years, but the architecture and the door numbering looks right. They’re also the right sort of geeky to do that.
want.
those.
Those are in the London office of Bloomberg.
ha! I am laughing about the building 68 MIT comment. but I worked there recently and… it’s not building 68. if anywhere at mit.edu, I would guess Farnk Gehry’s wacky stata center, where they have all this custom furniture in every different lobby.
this is an installation in a financial office in London, England.
Designed by a design firm there……..I like it………even if you work in a serious office….doing serious things, doesn’t mean you can’t have fun.
