Rasher Mashers: Bacon Caramel

Highlights from this delightful recipe for Bacon Caramel include “Serve it up to those without pancreatic issues,” the optional inclusion of bourbon instead of maple syrup (why not both?), and “Cuisine: American.”
I do take slight issue with “Serves 15.” A couple slices of white bread and you’ve got a light, on-the-go snack for two, at best.

Um, not quite sure how to say this nicely so I’ll just say it…
It’s hard to imagine something looking LESS appetizing without intentionally looking for roadkill…
just my 2 cents.
Woah. Well I am pretty adventurous with the food, and I do so love bacon, but reading: “A couple slices of white bread and you’ve got a light, on-the-go snack for two, at best” really has me wondering what person could honestly eat a half-casserole dish of that stuff.
Not just the flavor, which seems like it could be overwhelming, but consider your health, by not eating one of those you could probably keep smoking for another 5 years and come out even! ;)
pork + sweetness doesn’t NOT go together!
Think: Busch’s Baked Beans, which always have a chunk of pork in the can yet feature a fairly sweet, syrupy flavor.
Carlos is on crack. Pork and sweetness are made for each other. Think bacon waffles with syrup. Or sweet and sour pork. Or ham and pineapple pizza. Or anything hawaiian. Or Kansas City style ribs. The list of sugar + pig goodness goes on and on.
Matt – “doesn’t NOT” is a double negative.
And this concludes our investigation into why double negatives are grammatically incorrect.
In this case, the double negative is perfectly fine, following a couple of singular-negative posts.
Thanks for playing, though!
trying to save face after using piss-poor grammar… quite amusing…
