Down here in North Carolina, the Carolina Rollergirls play to ever-increasing numbers now that they’ve moved over to Dorton Arena at the State Fairgrounds. Additionally, two of them will be participating in this year’s State Fair Demolition Derby. Very entertaining!

One of the Austin Rollergirls set up a league down here in Grand Cayman a couple years back. My then-girlfriend got involved with it, and needed help re-learning to skate on four wheels again, so I went out skating with her a few times, and then, since, you know, they couldn’t find anyone else, I ended up being one of the refs for the league. You think it’s hot watching from the sidelines? :)

Baltimore's Charm City Girls, co-founded by a member of the TXRD leagure) just wrapped up their season recently. I didn't get to go this season. But after seeing their website, I'm definitely going to make it next season. *drools*
