British Teen Chugs Oil for Heart Ad

I’m not sure this ad from the British Heart Foundation sends out the exact message they intended, but any campaign that features teens covering themselves in oil gets a thumbs-up from me.
Seriously though, kids: Don’t do drugs.
Oh? “Don’t eat crisps”? Huh. Good luck with that.

While that would be a pretty good ad if fried foods were left in cold oil to soak until they’d absorbed all the oil, as it is it’s pretty dishonest.
And why’d they pick a model who’s so dramatically thin… The message is pretty cloudy.
you guys clearly work in advertising or law!
“what goes into your crisps goes into you.” she’s drinking fat. crisps are made in fat. fat goes into you. bad for your heart. really quite straight forward.
“dramatically thin”?? could be she’s 12?
hey ho.
When I open my bedroom window, this advert is outside, on a billboard. Its my view. I’m still eating crisps. And praying they they’ll put up the Sloggi advert instead.
Some greasy fries before a long night of drinking is a safety measure and should be celebrated by the kind of “adults” who produce these ads.
Could be worse ina minute or so if it were Olestra.
Tha’ll ruin that fantasy of yours in no time.
