Browning Upland Hunting Jackets

These Upland hunting jackets from Browning are great, splitting the line between leather racer jacket and tactical couture. I’d probably go for the one without the visible pockets for shotgun shells. (The “with shells” model is called the “X-Change,” and actually features sleeves that can be removed to turn it into a vest.)

Both are available at Sierra Trading Post for $120 plus shipping.

These jackets look terrible. Harry Whittington was probably wearing this jacket when Cheney put a cap in his ass - and deservingly so! I think a great jacket suggestion would be a brown leather jacket or a camel hair coat. But not this drek.

I’m going to tackle the first person I see wearing one of these in NYC.

I’m originally from *ahem*southdakota*ahem*, where seeing folks wear their hunting gear as everyday wear is common. It’s far from couture.

That being said, these jackets will suit you to hell and back. Browning is a helluva brand.

I can picture this worn with those yellow Skechers from the inaugural Dapper or Crapper. I don’t want to, but I can.

those are horrible… OLN will hopefully be the only place I ever see those again.
