The problem is, you made the question too narrow.

I’m going to have to disagree with Four To The Side an Bobo. Khakis have their place – just not at work. Most golf courses will not allow jeans, and you don’t want to be sweating in wool slacks out on the greens. They are also great for sailing since they dry fairly quickly. And they are perfect for that casual date when your lady friend might think, “Jeez, I didn’t want him to dress for work to take me out to dinner, but couldn’t he do better than jeans?”

Crrrrrrapper. Keep them dogs under that desk for the rest of the day. There is bareley anything to those shoes and so they’re out-gunned by your bulky socks and pants, or “trousers”.

Another point, have you ever seen a street mime? Their teeth and their white face paint are clashing because the white and off-white are doing battle in your brain to catch your eye. The same is true with the colors you’ve chosen.

My advice kick them shoes as far under the couch as possible and forget about them.

from a gay point, here’s my input :

1. the shoes could be worse. at least they’re sketchers and not some lameo brand like le coq sportif. the yellow is actually very “this season”. and the worn look isn’t like “i bought these shoes cause they’re cool” which is a good thing.

2. lighter shoes with khakis is good. it elongates your figure and doesn’t put a big period at the end of your legs.

3. khakis are fine as long as they are pleatless and cut narrowly.

4. no dark socks. maybe even try something fun like mint green. socks are the exclamation point to an outfit. they are something you should notice but something that should be a surprise and add punch. like ties, they’re something you’re allowed to be playful with. maybe something with skulls would be current.
