Dethroned: Quentin Taratino Sips a Samuel Jackson’s Badass Ale

At the Snakes on a Plane premiere held at the Alamo Draft House in Austin, Texas, known film referencer Quentin Tarantino is seen sipping a “Samuel Jackson Badass Ale.” Our sources tell us that the beer was only a Budweiser clad in a special sticker; Fortunate, as any flavor we associate with Sam Jackson tastes of sweat and fury.

If it was a Bud, it’s a lager, not an Ale! The lying bastards!
For those who are a bit confused, it was a funny skit on the Chappell Show before he went wonky and ran away to Africa. A spoof on the old Sam Adams comercials with “Samual Adams” replaced with Chappell as Jackson. The Alamo Roadhouse Theater thingy that the guys at aintitcool.com put on had a bucnh of these made up along with a whole truckload of other Sam Jackson and Snakes on a Plane themed stuff.
Too bad the movie sucked too much to do well, but not enough to be so bad it was actually good.
Clearing things up: It’s Alamo Drafthouse, and Drafthouse in this case is one word.
On a possibly more interesting and definitely less annoyingly anal note, Independence Brewery here in town sent over cases of their Bootlegger Brown (excellent brew, BTW) with no labels on them so they could do this. The guy who told me this, a server at Alamo Drafthouse, said that Tarantino sent a case of it to Sam Jackson’s house.
sounds like someone is imitating something they are not. Like Quentin Taratino pretending to be a movie director.
or Joel pretending to be straight.
That is so badass.
