We haven’t done the best job assembling the pool of sites from which to steal and repackaging news for Dethroner each and every day, which will probably work to your advantage as we point out the sites as we discover them. Case in point: ShavingStuff.com, a site with a name much more self-explanatory than our own. It’s a product-oriented blog from a self-described publisher of “product oriented consumer” blogs, but the content has personality and seems written by someone with care for your face.
We tripped up over Shaving Stuff looking for deals on electric shavers (not something to which we’re partial, but we occasionally consider dabbling). SS is linking to a factory-reconditioned Braun 7526 Syncro Smart Logic Shaver, normally $140, for $40. (Don’t feel you have to rush right over; It seems that deal has been going on for a couple of years, at least.) But the site is more than just deals, offering product reviews and at least one “Famous Deaths in Shaving History.”
In fact, we’re a bit perturbed: Reviewing shaving creams was an idea we hoped to steal from magazines, not another weblog.
