Locks of Love: Do Good with a Bad Do

If you find yourself ready to cut the hair you started growing when Dave Mustaine could be on camera with Lars Ulrich without blubbering a confession of his inner pain, please consider Locks of Love. The non-profit organization takes real human hair and transforms it into wigs—wigs that are then given to kids with medical hair loss. Your smelly, badly-kempt mullet could be transformed into something that has a much better chance of puting a smile on a underprivileged kid’s face than your third attempt to cover ‘Hanger 18′ on the pipe organ. (Transformed, that is, by washing your at least 10-inch length of hair and sending it in a ponytail or braid to Locks of Love; You probably should read their guidelines.)
